The Corner Suite - Renovated Factory Flat

When we arrived at the property, the app wouldn’t work so I wasn’t able to get the door code to get in. It took several texts and calls before the owner responded. The listing lists a sofa bed as the extra bed but it’s actually a blow up mattress.It was clean and served its purpose but I wouldn’t rebook if I came back to Columbus.

The property was very clean & nicely decorated and we loved the look and warmth of the rooms. The kitchen was stocked w/the basics. Even though there were weddings at the venue next door 2 of the 3 nights, it was surprisingly quiet in the condo. The area felt safe & we walked to restaurants every night. Our only complaints were with the bed(s). The bed is listed as a queen, but it appeared to be a full size bed on a queen frame. (We have a queen bed at home, so we are pretty familiar with the size of a mattress.) The mattress was very hard, like a board, & very uncomfortable. My wife can sleep anywhere and she had difficulties sleeping and woke up hurting each morning. I only lasted half a night and had to move out to the couch. The couch is listed as a sofa bed, but it is not. Now, there is a blow-up bed, but it was also quite uncomfortable. To be honest though, between turning 56 in 2 weeks, and for the amount of money we spent for 3 nights, I don’t want to, nor do I feel that I should have to sleep on a blow-up bed like I’m camping. The lack of quality sleep impacted an otherwise great trip. The only reason I felt the need to say something about the bed is because as a consumer I appreciate hearing other people’s experiences, positive and negative. But, I want to emphasize that the bed was our only negative experience with this property. If the bed was replaced with a good queen mattress and box spring, we would definitely stay there again!

This place was ideal for my Columbus stay. The huge windows right next to the street put you front and center with all the Short North energy — people walking by, that constant lively city feel. If you enjoy having life right outside your window, this is the spot. The corner suite layout is excellent — it floods the space with natural light from both the big front windows and the side ones, keeping it bright and open all day.Ground floor access made it super easy to come and go. The suite was clean, modern, comfortable, and well-maintained with a solid kitchen setup. Location is unbeatable — steps from restaurants, bars, galleries, and everything the Short North offers.Great value and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
