The Short North Retreat III - Free Private Parking

Everyone's taste in accommodations is different, from my perspective this was a no brainer, right in the middle of everything, it was very clean, shootout to the cleaning crew!! The host was great,restaurant's all we're great, just close pretty early. 10pm'ish?? I plan on going back in October to see my son , hopefully its available...

Very clean and nice apartment. Perfect for 3 people going into town for a bit. Owner is very responsive. Some tourist attractions are a little further away than what map says. Excellent stay though

Initial access codes and instructions were provided by a blank link. It took several hours and contact with Vrbo customer service to connect with the host. The Toilet did not flush, kitchen sink faucet spray nozzle leaked, free parking spaces were insufficient, I had to pay to park 2x. I notified the host who was slow to respond again, but no remedy was completed during the stay. AC setting could not be adjusted to a permanent setting. It stopped cooling after a short period. The temperature was in the 90s during my stay so coming back to a hot apartment was not pleasant and I had to wake up and lower the setting several times per night. The host was very slow to respond to messages. I also noticed a fair amount of homeless people sleeping in the alley and adjacent covered garage and observed them looking into cars. The apartment seemed reasonably priced initially, but my experience and inconvenience did not correlate to a favorable value.

We came in for a concert, and a college visit early the next morning. We only stayed a few hours in the apartment, but upon arriving the property was clean and exactly as pictured/described. The host was very nice and accommodating to our needs. We wouid stay here again.
